Through the live projects offered by corporates, IMM students are able to get the opportunity to work on the real time situations and problems of the industry and contribute to the industry’s progress while studying at IMM. IMM students regularly visit units of renowned corporate houses so as to be apprised on the corporate working and etiquette. The students are exposed to the manufacturing process of the company’s products and also are educated on how the manufactured products reach the end user as per company norms. Such visits enrich IMM students about the real time working system of a company and ways and means for business progress. Summer Internship is a compulsory part of the IMM curriculum. IMM students undergo 2 to 3 months paid internship under the guidance of the executives of leading corporates. The internship is offered based out of the domain interest of the students. Pre Placement offers (PPO) are offered to IMM students based on their performance during the internship period. The students are to submit the synopsis and project of their summer internship which is evaluated by a panel consisting of Academic and Industry experts.
