IMM’s 51 year old rich legacy is highly regarded by the leading corporates, which is also honed by the presence of IMM senior alumni at CXO positions throughout the industry. The rich legacy and pedagogy of IMM has ensured that IMM students are always connected with Industry leaders for academic as well as for placement & placement related activities. The IMM Placement cell seeks expression of interest from the students for each job description by recruiters and only then does the process for campus placement begins. To further ensure that students should only appear for the company and profile most suitable to their expertise, IMM ensures that recruiters may give a pre placement talk to students to clarify further query of students related to the job profile and their career progress. Thereafter interested students appear for the interview process of the recruiters with full zeal and confidence.
Summer Internship is a compulsory part of the IMM curriculum. IMM students undergo 2 to 3 months paid internship under the guidance of the executives of leading corporates. The internship is offered based out of the domain interest of the students. Pre Placement offers (PPO) are offered to IMM students based on their performance during the internship period. The students submit the synopsis and project of their summer internship which is evaluated by a panel of Academic and Industry experts.
